Beavers knock off Rochester 3-1 on the road

BLUFFTON, Ohio -The Bluffton University men's soccer team (2-4) used excellent defense and timely shots to knock off Rochester on the road on Saturday, September 17. 

Junior JUSTIN ROHRER (Millersburg/West Holmes) scored the first goal for Bluffton off of an assist from freshman NATE FLATH (Wooster/Wooster). Sophomore TYLER CHAPMAN(Shreve/Triway) entered the scoring column for Bluffton when senior COLIN ROYNON(Archbold/Pettisville) found him with a pass in the second half. Tyler Chapman picked up an assist on Nate Flath's goal which rounded out the scoring for Bluffton.  Junior goalkeeper RYAN THOMAS (Jamestown/Greenview) did the job in the goal as he stopped nine shots for the game.

The Beavers will be back in action on Wednesday, Sept. 21 when they visit Cincinnati Bible College.  Kickoff starts at 5 p.m.
