BLUFFTON, Ohio -The Bluffton University men's soccer team (3-6) lost a defensive struggle to Lake Erie College (3-4-2) by a final of 1-0. 

The Bluffton offense spread the ball around as seven Beavers combined for 13 shots. A Brad McFadden shot midway through the first half proved to be the difference in the game as Bluffton could not put the ball in the net.

The Beavers will return to action on Saturday, October 1 when they host Anderson in a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference contest. The match is set to begin at 3 p.m.
