BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University men's soccer team (4-7) traveled to Taylor-Fort Wayne and dominated the Trojans in a 5-0 victory on October 6, 2005.

Bluffton opened the scoring with a goal by freshman NATE FLATH (Wadsworth/Wadsworth) five minutes into the game. Senior COLIN ROYNON (Archbold/Pettisville) picked up his first of two assists for the afternoon when Flath headed his cross into the goal. Flath, who finished with a hat trick, scored again, less than ten minutes later, when he accepted a pass from sophomore TYLER CHAPMAN (Shreve/Triway) and put it between the posts.

Junior JUSTIN ROHRER (Millersburg/West Holmes) put the Beavers up 3-0 less than two minutes into the second half when he rifled a shot past the Taylor defense. Flath scored his third goal of the game on another cross from Roynon with nine minutes to play. Sophomore RAY VOELKER (Newbury/Newbury) accounted for the final Bluffton score when his corner kick found the goal late in the contest.

The Beavers will be back in action on Saturday, October 8 when they host Mount St. Joseph in a HCAC contest.  Game time is scheduled for 3 p.m.
