BLUFFTON, Ohio - Sophomore NATE FLATH (Wadsworth/Wadsworth) has been named men's soccer Player of the Week for the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference for the week ending October 15, 2006.

Flath's hat trick against the Manchester Spartans on Tuesday, October 10, helped the Beavers win their second consecutive Heartland Conference contest. He scored his second goal on a penalty kick and knotted the contest at three with only 21 seconds left in regulation setting up the Beavers for a 4-3 victory in the extra period.  

For the season, Flath leads the Beavers with eight goals and two assists as Bluffton currently stands at 2-10 and 2-4 in the HCAC.

The Beavers will return to action on Tuesday, October 17, when they host Taylor-Ft. Wayne at 4 p.m.
