BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University men's soccer team suffered a lopsided loss to the Huntington Foresters on Saturday, September 8, by a score of 10-2.

During the fifth minute of the game, Bluffton's NATE FLATH (Wadsworth/Wadsworth) found the back of net on a penalty kick, giving the Beavers a 1-0 lead. That was the last time Bluffton was on top as Huntington changed the pace of the game, scoring four goals in a ten-minute span.

The Beavers' DERRICK SCOVANNER (Loveland/Cincinnati Hills) retaliated by scoring Bluffton's second goal in the 38th minute.

Huntington continued to pound the net, tacking on six goals after Bluffton lost MICHAEL TIMPE (Swanton/Swanton) to a red card late in the first half. The Beavers were forced to play the remainder of the game with 10 players, making the final score 10-2 in favor of the home Foresters.

The Beavers will travel to HCAC rival Transylvania on Saturday, September 15, where they are scheduled to start at 2 p.m.
