Boehr and Olterman named second team All-HCAC

Senior Brandon Olterman anchored the Bluffton defense for the Beavers again in 2007. Olterman has been a fixture in the Bluffton starting lineup throughout the past three seasons, starting 52 games during that span. He also saw action in 12 matches as a freshman. As a junior, Olterman recorded his only career assist.

Bluffton finished the season with a 4-12-1 overall record, including a 2-6 mark in the HCAC. Full statistics and information on the 2007 men's soccer season are available online

BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference recently announced the recipients of All-HCAC honors for the 2007 season. Two Bluffton University men's soccer players were awarded for their play this year. Seniors MICAH BOEHR (Bluffton/Bluffton) and BRANDON OLTERMAN (Camden/Preble Shawnee) were named second team All-HCAC by the coaches for their work on the field this season.

Micah Boehr, the Bluffton men's soccer captain, scored the first goal of his career in 2007. He played in 60 games during his career, earning the starting assignment in 47 of those. For his career, Boehr took 21 shots. He started 14 matches this year.
