Goshen downs Bluffton 5-0 at Lansdale, Pennsylvania

LANSDALE, Penn. - The Bluffton University men's soccer team was defeated by Goshen College, 5-0, on Saturday, September 11, 2010. The Beavers fell to 2-1 while Goshen (1-4) recorded its first win of the season.

The Bluffton goalkeepers were busy, racking up seven saves between the two of them while facing 23 total shots, including 12 on target. In the first half, junior DAN SAVILLE(Toledo/Central Catholic) tallied five saves. Senior BRIAN GOOD (Elida) had two more saves in the final period. ZACH STURM (Grove City), NOLAN PHELPS (Monroe/Lemon-Monroe) and DUSTIN ESTEP (Jamestown/Greenview) each contributed with one shot apiece.
 
The Bluffton men continue their 2010 season at Cincinnati Christian on Tuesday, September 14. The contest, which will be played at Xavier University, is slated for 7 p.m.
