Bluffton men run at ONU Last Chance

The Beavers took several athletes on the short trip over to Ohio Northern for the Polar Bear Final Qualifier in one last push for a nationals bid on Saturday, March 8.

Senior Desmond Gist (Detroit, Mich./Trenton) won the 60 hurdles, tying his season best with a time of 8.19.

Senior Russell Lough (Wintersville/Indian Creek) ended up in a tightly contested heat where he finished 3rd overall in the 400 with a new indoor lifetime best of 50.34, putting him second all-time in the event for Bluffton.

Another senior, Kyle Manns (Ottoville), finished the day clearing 1.81m in high jump as he continues to work his way back into jumping form.

The trip to Ada concluded the indoor season for the Beavers who will kick off their outdoor season on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Berea in Kentucky.
