The 2002 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference softball tournament will be held Friday and Saturday, May 3 and 4, at Manchester College.

Bluffton College will enter the tournament as the #2 seed and will meet #7 seed Franklin College at 11 a.m. on Friday. The winner of that game will advance to the semi-finals to meet the winner the #3 Hanover vs. #6 Anderson game.

Number 1 seed Mount St. Joseph will have a first round bye and will meet the winner of #4 Manchester vs. #5 Defiance.
