Beavers go 6-4 at Rebel Spring Games

Freshman Sarah Betts collected four pitching victories and senior Missy Neal batted .324 as the Bluffton College softball team posted a 6-4 record at the Rebel Spring Games in Kissimmee, Florida, last week.

Sophomore Jenny Lehman and freshman Jessica Rosengarten collected Bluffton's two other wins that didn't come via the arm of Betts, while other offensive leaders included senior Stephanie Rush, sophomore Allison Lange, sophomore Michelle Pleiman, sophomore Mandy Snider, senior Missy Alexander and junior Amber Fitzwater.

Neal started all 10 games and batted .324 (11-for-34) with three triples, six RBI and six runs scored.

Bluffton notched victories over Clarke, Misercordia, Muhlenberg, Kean and Thiel during the week.

Weather permitting, Bluffton is slated to travel to Thomas More on Thursday before hosting Kalamazoo on Saturday.
