BLUFFTON, Ohio - Freshman KRISTIN AGAUAS (Bloomfield, Mich./Andover) was named Pitcher of the Week in the Heartland Conference after helping the Bluffton University softball team to a perfect 4-0 record last week. It marks the second time this season that a Bluffton hurler has collected the honor. Junior BROOKE BABCOCK (Findlay) took home the award for her work in Florida to start the season.

Agauas posted a near perfect 0.88 earned run average in eight innings of work on the mound. She allowed just three hits and one run in three relief appearances. At Heidelberg on Wednesday, she picked up her second save of the season, and she fanned 13 batters during her three outings while issuing just one free pass during the week.

Bluffton travels to Anderson on Thursday, April 16, for its final regular season road contests of the season before returning home for a Saturday date with Case Reserve on Strike-Out Cancer Day.
