BLUFFTON, Ohio - Bluffton's LINDSEY MILLER (WAPAKONETA) has been named Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Athlete of the Month for the second consecutive month. The senior second baseman led the Beavers to a 14-4 record in April as well as a third consecutive berth in the four-team conference tournament.

She was a phenomenal 31-of-57 at the plate for a .544 batting average. Miller scored nine runs, had three doubles and two home runs while driving in 23 RBI. She finished the month with a .702 slugging percentage and a .587 on-base percentage.

For the season, Miller led the HCAC in batting average (.458), RBI (46), on-base percentage (.507), and hits (60).

Miller, who was HCAC Player of the Week following the Beavers' trip to Florida to open the season, is the only Bluffton female athlete to claim this award and she has earned the honor three times during her career, including both March and April this season and in March 2008.

The HCAC Player of the Month award is in its fourth year of existence. The award is voted on by the sports information directors of each member institution.
