Bluffton tops Peace 70-46 in Las Vegas

Bluffton College held Peace College to just 12 points in the first half and cruised to a 70-46 victory on day-one of the Adidas Desert Shootout in Las Vegas.

Peace, located in North Carolina, was held to a 27.6% shooting percentage from the floor by the BC defense, which forced 24 turnovers. Peace was 16-58 from the floor and just 1-15 from three point range as Bluffton improved to 4-3 on the season.

Elizabeth Snavely led a very balanced BC scoring attack with 10 points. She added a team-high 12 rebounds and blocked two shots. Three BC players netted nine points, including Kristin Helvey, Kristy Crall and Bree Wood. Helvey added three steals and seven rebounds while Wood grabbed six boards and Crall nailed three of four treys.
