Bluffton evens record at 5-5 with 75-67 win over Muskingum

Bluffton College evened their season record at 5-5 Saturday evening with a 75-67 victory over a visiting Muskingum College squad in Founders Hall. 

Senior Elizabeth Snavely (Defiance) scored 18 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead the Beavers, while senior Liz Bock (Maumee) scored 13 points and blocked three shots. Kristin Helvey (Toledo/Central Catholic) scored 12 points and dished out nine assists and senior Jen Bear (Grover Hill/Lincolnview) chipped in nine points and collected 10 boards.

Muskingum led most of the first half before Bluffton came back to tie the game at 35-35 at halftime. The Beavers then scored the first 11 points of the second half to take control of the game and led by as many as 17 points in the second half.

Muskingum's Jessica Gates came off the bench to score a game-high 27 points. She collected 10 rebounds, while Stephanie Bishop scored 17 points.
