Robinson named HCAC Player of Week

Bluffton College junior LYNDSEY ROBINSON (Fostoria H.S.) has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference women's basketball player-of-the-week for her efforts in two games last week.

Robinson totaled 49 points and 15 rebounds in two games for the Beavers, setting a new career-high in scoring each night. The junior post player netted 19 points and five rebounds in a loss to Franklin on Wednesday night, then scored 20 points and added 10 rebounds in a loss at Transylvania on Saturday. Her totals at Transylvania marked the fourth double-double of Robinson's career.

Robinson is leading the Beavers in both scoring and rebounding on the season with 11.2 points and 7.8 rebounds per game. Against HCAC opponents, she currently ranks sixth in the conference in scoring (14.2 ppg) and third in rebounding (8.6 rpg).

Robinson was an honorable mention All-Ohio selection at Fostoria High School and was named first team All-GLL and Northwest District. She holds the single season and career rebounding record at Fostoria.
