Huntington rolls through Bluffton 88-48 in Founders Hall

Bluffton College attempted more shots both from the field and from the free throw line than Huntington College, but the visiting Foresters connected on more of their attempts en route to an 88-48 win over the Beavers Saturday afternoon in Founders Hall.

The loss was the second for Bluffton in as many days as BC is now 0-2 overall. Huntington improves to 4-2 overall.

The Beavers were held to a 19% shooting clip from the floor in the second half after shooting 25% in the first half.

Huntington jumped out to a 24-6 lead to begin the game and led by 28 points at halftime, 49-21.

Bluffton was led by Karen Harris with 10 points, while Cara Young and Lyndsey Robinson both had eight points. Melissa James added seven point and seven rebounds.

Bluffton will return to action Tuesday night against Wilmington College at 7 p.m. in Founders Hall.
