Bluffton College scored the most points in an Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference game so far this season, but the league's top-ranked offense, Hanover College, ran away with a 103-67 win Saturday in Founders Hall.
Three BC players scored in double-figures, led by seniors Melissa James and Kristen Siller with 12 points each. Siller's point total tied her career high, while junior Karen Harris chipped in 10 points.
Bluffton falls to 1-16 overall and 0-8 in the HCAC, while Hanover improves to 8-8 overall and 4-4 in the HCAC.
Senior Lyndsey Robinson and sophomore Cara Young both added eight points for Bluffton.
Bluffton attempted a season-high 22 three-point shots and hit five of them as James and senior Paula Fry each had two treys and sophomore Lindsey Delscamp knocked down one. Freshman Karen Schaller grabbed a team-high five rebounds.
BC will host Manchester Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
