Sophomore wing ASHLEIGH STALLKAMP was named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week ending February 12, 2006. She helped the Beavers to a 1-1 week, including Bluffton's first HCAC victory of the season, a 67-65 triumph over Mt. St. Joseph at Founders Hall on Wednesday night. She finished the week with 42 points, 11 rebounds, eight steals and three assists. 

During the victory over the Mount, Ashleigh led all scorers with 23 points, including shooting 8-17 from the field. She tallied four rebounds, four steals and two assists against the Lions. 

She followed that with a 19 point, seven board and four steal performance in the Beavers' 68-65 loss at Anderson on Saturday afternoon. 

Stallkamp currently leads the HCAC with 18 ppg in conference contests. 

The Beavers will return to action on Wednesday, February 15, 2006 when they host conference rival Defiance College at 7:30 p.m. in Founders Hall.
