GOSHEN, Ind. - The Bluffton University women traveled to Goshen to face the Maple Leafs on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009. Bluffton trailed 37-26 at the half, but the Beavers came out strong in the second as they went around Goshen before the Maple Leafs pulled away for the 84-77 victory. Bluffton's fifth straight setback dropped the Beavers to 3-6 overall, while Goshen improved to 8-8 overall.

The Beaver scoring started with a three-pointer by GINNY BUCKINGHAM (Bluffton) for a 3-2 lead. Buckingham added another field goal to put Bluffton up 5-2 just two minutes into the game. The Maple Leafs responded with a 7-0 run to put Goshen up 9-5 with just under 14 minutes to play in the half.
