Rowe named HCAC Player of Week

BLUFFTON, Ohio - KAYCEE ROWE (Harrod/Allen East) has been named the Heartland Conference Player of the Week for the third time this season. It marks the fifth honor for Bluffton this season as MACEY SHEERER (Bucyrus) has also notched two Player of the Week awards!

Rowe led the Beavers to a pair of convincing road games at Defiance and Anderson this week. She poured in 23.0 
PPG on a red-hot 14-of-26 (.636 FG percentage) from the field and 17-of-19 (.895 FT percentage) at the stripe. Rowe averaged 5.5 RPG and finished the week with two assists, two blocks and two steals. She set a new career high with 31 points on 10-of-15 from the floor and a perfect 10-of-10 at the line on Saturday at Anderson! Her 31 was just two shy of Bluffton's school-record 33 points for a single game.

The versatile senior leads the Heartland Conference with 15.3 PPG and her 8.7 RPG are second in the HCAC. She is currently 5th all-time at Bluffton with 1,126 points and her 610 career boards are 7th all-time. Rowe is also tied for 3rd all-time with 184 career steals.

The Bluffton women (17-6, 12-4 HCAC) are home for Manchester University on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., before hosting Franklin College for Senior Day on Saturday at 2 p.m.
