BLUFFTON, Ohio - Junior Brianna Gillig (New Riegel) was named the Heartland Conference Player of the Week for the second time in three weeks following a weekend sweep of Manchester University.

Gillig scored 41 points against the Spartans, shattering the former Bluffton record of 33 and topping the HCAC mark of 40. She finished with 10 rebounds in an 86-68 win at Manchester. For the week, Gillig averaged 23.5 PPG and 7.0 RPG. She hit 15-of-25 from the field on Friday while knocking down 9-of-10 at the line.

Bluffton returns to action on Friday, Feb. 5, when the Beavers travel to Mount St. Joseph for a 6:30 p.m. tip in Cincinnati.
