BLUFFTON, Ohio - Senior Morgan Smith (Arlington) has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week, making it two straight weeks a Beaver has been accorded that honor! Smith propelled Bluffton to victories over Earlham and Franklin a week after freshman Kyla Columber (Marion/Pleasant) earned HCAC Player of the Week recognition.

Smith averaged 20.5 PPG and 11.5 RPG on 18-of-27 shooting from the field for 66.7 percent. She also doled out 3.0 APG for the week. The All-Heartland Conference honoree hit 10-of-13 from the field for 23 points and nine rebounds in Bluffton's 72-56 home victory over Franklin on Saturday.

For the first time in over a month, the women will get on a bus and hit the road. Bluffton heads to Manchester University for a 7:30 p.m. tipoff with the Spartans after eight consecutive games in the Sommer Center.
