Brown named Honorable Mention All-HCAC

Heartland Conference Release

BLUFFTON, Ohio - Bluffton University junior Madison Brown (Montpelier/North Central) has been named All-Heartland Conference following an outstanding season with the Beavers. She is Bluffton's first All-HCAC honoree since 2022-23.

The Honorable Mention All-HCAC selection made her first career start in game one and she never looked back. Brown was in double figures 22 times with only one game under eight points after playing less than 80 minutes total during her first two seasons. She did it all for the Beavers, scoring 15.0 PPG (5th in the HCAC), ripping down 197 boards (5th in the HCAC) and doling out 61 assists (13th in the HCAC). These were all team highs in 2024-25!

Brown was deadly at the foul line, hitting 143 charity tosses which was just one shy of Tanya Rickenberg's record 144 makes in 2003-04. She led the HCAC with the 143 freebies and her 83.1 percent work at the line was 4th in the conference.

Heading into her senior campaign, Brown has amassed 405 points, 207 rebounds and 63 assists. Her ability to put the ball on the floor and get to the line is second to none. She needed just seven triples to score 390 points this season!
