Beavers shoot 382 at Adrian Fall Invitational

ADRIAN, Mich. - The Bluffton University women's golf team traveled to Michigan on a beautiful Thursday, Sept. 24, to take part in the Adrian Fall Invite. Matching up against the cream of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association, the Bluffton women shot 382 at a challenging Lenawee CC on Thursday.

Sophomore Haley Gill (Indianapolis, IN/Franklin Central) led the Beavers with a 91. Two strokes back of Gill was junior Brylee Oberdorf (Green Springs/Clyde) who is averaging a team-low 88.2 strokes per round this fall. Gill is just over half a stoke off Oberdorf's pace at 88.8 after five rounds of golf.

Grace Branson (Carlisle) and Meredith Obringer (Tiffin/Columbian) both scored 96, while Marissa Hall (Avon Lake) chipped in with a 102 on Thursday. Obringer's 96 shaved eight stokes off her collegiate-best score at the Lourdes Invitational.

Bluffton travels back to Michigan on Saturday, Sept. 26, to compete at Forest Akers West in East Lansing. Olivet College will host the Bluffton men and women on Saturday.
