Bluffton ranked 14th in NCAA Division III women's golf

BLUFFTON, Ohio - Bluffton stands 14th in the NCAA Division III national rankings following the completion of the 2020 fall season. The Beavers played eight rounds while most of the country was sidelined as a result of COVID-19.

The women averaged 93.56 in competition with an adjusted scoring average of 94.42 when course, conditions, and field strength on a given day were factored in.

Bluffton shot a 356 at the Beaver Fall Classic, just one stroke off the school record for 18 holes, while its 730 was also second all-time for 36 holes.

The Beavers also made huge strides in the record book for individuals. Junior Brylee Oberdorf (Green Springs/Clyde) finished the fall with the top scoring average in school history (88.88), while sophomore Haley Gill (Indianapolis, IN/Franklin Central) ranks second just behind her at 91.25 heading into the spring. They both stand at the top of the 18-hole list at 83 (twice for Gill) and their respective 173's at the Beaver Fall Classic are the best 36-hole scores in Bluffton women's history.

Bluffton is eagerly awaiting a spring campaign that will see the Beavers travel to Miami Whitewater GC for the 2021 Heartland Conference women's championship from April 23-25.
