Beavers struggle to a 388 at HCAC Championship

FRANKLIN, Ind. - The Bluffton University women's golf team battled a wet, slow course on Friday, Oct. 8, 2021, shooting a 388 at the Legends Golf Club. Bluffton stands in 7th place after day one of the Heartland Conference Championship.

Junior Haley Gill (Indianapolis, IN/Franklin Central) led the way with a 92 on Friday afternoon. Freshman Kiley Cline (Fostoria/Hopewell Louden) and senior Keely Briggs (Franklin) both carded 96's, while Marissa Hall (Avon Lake) rounded out the scoring with a 104.

Bluffton will pick up round two at 9 AM on Saturday, Oct. 9, before the 2021 HCAC Championship comes to a close on Sunday with the winner earning an automatic berth into the 2021-22 NCAA Championship which is staged in May.
