Bluffton opens season with red-hot 322

MARSHALL, Mich. - For the second straight weekend a Bluffton University golf team traveled to an Olivet College hosted tournament. This week its was the women's turn to take center stage. The Beavers did not disappoint, nor did they need to shake the rust off as they shot a 322 on Friday, Sept. 6, 2024. Bluffton's 322 is 3rd all time for 18 holes and it has the women 3rd in a talented field of 14 teams!

Seniors Kiley Cline (Fostoria/Hopewell Louden) and Allie Waggener (Hilliard/Hilliard Bradley) picked up right where they left off, carding rounds of 78 and 79, respectively. Sophomores Hope Manning (South Charleston/Southeastern) and Jordan Hemmelgarn (Coldwater) went 82 and 83, while Gabby Green (Beavercreek/Carroll) rounded out the scoring with a 101.

Round two of the Kyle Campbell Memorial Tournament will fire off with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7.
