Bluffton stands 2nd at MSJ Stateline Shootout

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Bluffton University women's golf team opened up its spring 2025 slate with a 337 on day one of the Stateline Shootout hosted by HCAC-rival Mount St Joseph. The host Lions lead their tournament after firing a 314 on Saturday, March 29, but the Beavers are in second place with a 337 through 18 holes.

Leading the way for Bluffton was Kiley Cline (Fostoria/Hopewell Louden) who shot an 80 on Saturday. Fellow senior Allie Waggener (Hilliard/Hilliard Bradley) and sophomore Jordan Hemmelgarn (Coldwater) both carded 84's, while Gabby Green (Beavercreek/Carroll) and Keylee Goerss (Hamilton/Talawanda) followed with identical rounds of 89. Alyssa Begoon (New Madison/Tri-Village) rounded out the Saturday scoring with a 94.

Bluffton will be back at the Miami Whitewater Golf Club for the final 18 holes on Sunday, March 30, 2025.
