Bluffton College went through two overtime sessions Saturday at the Emery Sears Athletic Complex and came ever so close to putting through the winning goal, but in the end tied Lake Erie College by the final score of 1-1.

Bluffton junior April Leu scored an unassisted goal with 20:38 left in the first half for BC's scoring, while Lake Erie's unassisted goal was scored by Annick Toulouse with 6:07 to go before halftime.

BC took a season-high 34 shots on goal during the match. The Beavers will travel to Hanover College on Saturday for their first Heartland Conference match of the season.

Bluffton is now 0-6-1 on the season, while Lake Erie is now 1-6-1.
