Bluffton falls to Tri State and Heidelberg

The Bluffton College women's soccer team had matches against two tough foes this past week in Tri-State and Heidelberg.  Although they lost both they gained much needed experience for this young team.  Having only one senior on the roster, the beaver's younger players unfortunately had to learn on the run as they opened with a very good Tri-State team.  Tri-State prevailed 6-0 in the opening game for Bluffton.  Rachelle Saccomen recorded 26 saves in the game for Bluffton.

In the second game of the season Bluffton hosted Heidelberg and showed signs of improvement from the loss to Tri-State.  Gina Berelsman led the beaver's with two shots on goal followed by Jenifer Byrne with one.  Saccomen had ten saves but the beaver's fell again 2-0.
