MEGHAN FORQUER, a 2006 Green High School (North Canton) graduate, has played all four years with the Green soccer program and along the way celebrated two Division I district titles, a regional title and state final four appearance in her senior year (2005). She has also played recreationally for CYO, Akron Indoor Soccer and the Greater Akron Amateur Soccer Association. Meghan also participates on her high school track and basketball teams as well as CYO volleyball.

ALLY KING, from North Ridgeville High School, Lorain, will look to add depth for the Beavers at the goalkeeper position.

HEATHER PULFORD, 2006 Bath High School graduate, will attend and compete for the Beaver's women's soccer team next year. Ms. Pulford led her team in scoring her senior season with 15 goals following her junior year when she was the second leading scorer.  In the 2005-2006 campaign, Heather was named first team All-WBL and first team All- District (Northwest Division II), as well as being named Bath High School team captain.  Bath girls soccer coach Elaine Bradley states, "Heather has been a hard working, intense presence for us". Bluffton University Head Women's Soccer Coach Steve Smucker states, "Her athleticism and experience will be a welcomed addition to our young team." He goes on to say that, "Although she'll immediately create an impact, she'll have plenty of opportunity to grow as a player and student."

SAMANTHA WILLIAMS, 2006 Bowsher High School (Toledo) graduate, has played four years on the varsity soccer team serving as captain three of those seasons.  During her freshman season, she garnered honors as a second team All-City followed by first team All-City in her sophomore year. In Samantha's junior year, she was chosen honorable mention in the District and in her senior year she was voted second team All-City and All Academic while representing Bowsher in the city all star game. In addition to her high school play, she also participated with the Maumee Express club for five years and the Sylvania Pacesetter club for six years in numerous leagues. Outside of soccer, Ms. Williams also contributed her athleticism to the softball team and her academic prowess to several foreign language clubs, Young Life, Campaigners and National Honor Society. "Samantha brings a wealth of experience as both a goalkeeper and a defender.  "I'm excited about her potential. She's a competitive, driven athlete and I'm looking forward to her contribution to the team next fall," says Coach Smucker.

ANNALEE KAPLAN has joined the strong group of recruits for the 2006 season. Coach Smucker said of Kaplan, "I'm pleased that Annalee has made this decision. I'm excited about her athleticism and her potential as a goalkeeper." Annalee has played as a goalkeeper for a number of years on both her club and high school teams. She has also been recognized as a scholar athlete.
