BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University women's soccer team could not keep up with Huntington University as the Beavers lost their first road match on September 8. The slick conditions and Huntington's tremendous speed lead to the first loss of the season, 4-1.

Within the first ten minutes of play, Huntington's Sarah Kaufman and Bethany McGraw scored for the Foresters, taking the Beavers out of their rhythm.

Bluffton's Elyse Burkhart (Telford, Penn./Sauderton) scored in the tenth minute of the game, trying to spark her team. 

Huntington responded with two more goals at minute 56 and 70, handing Bluffton its first loss of the 2007 season.

The Beavers return to Bluffton to face Heidelberg College on Wednesday, September 12. The match is scheduled to start at 4 p.m.
