CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio - The Bluffton University women's soccer team battled to a scoreless tie at Ohio Christian on a blazing hot Saturday, Sept. 21. Bluffton now stands 3-3-2 following the non-conference portion of the 2024 schedule.
Bluffton doubled up the home team with 16 shots, compared to just eight for the Trailblazers. The advantage was 13-7 on frame. Bluffton forced four of the five corner kicks in the match.
Sophomore Morgan Jarvis (Powell/Dublin Scioto) led the offense with four shot attempts, including three on frame. Senior Brielle Collier (Anna) racked up seven saves in her 90 minutes between the pipes.
The Beavers will have a week to get ready for the Heartland Conference opener with Rose-Hulman traveling to Allen County on Saturday, Sept. 28. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m. at the Sears Complex.
