BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision to Hanover College on a beautiful Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025. The Panthers improved to 4-6-2 overall and 2-2 in the Heartland Conference, while Bluffton slipped to 5-8 with 0-4 mark in the HCAC.
Hanover went up 2-0 in the first half on the strength of a 12-3 advantage in shots. Cam Horsley scored her second goal of the match less than a minute into the second half and she connected with Emma Gill in minute 72 as the visitors posted a 4-0 shutout of the Beavers.
The Panthers finished with a marked 25-5 edge in total shots, including 16-2 on frame. Hanover forced five of the seven corner kicks, while Bluffton was whistled for three more fouls (8-5).
Sophomores Reece Lawler (Vandalia/Butler) and Brysan Brewer (Middletown) both finished with two shots for the Beavers. Freshman keeper Madison Kutscher (Rossford) battled the Panthers with a dozen saves on Saturday afternoon.
Bluffton is back at the Sears Complex for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff with Anderson University on Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2025.
