The 9th ranked Ohio Northern University volleyball team handed Bluffton College a 3-0 loss Wednesday evening in Founders Hall, 19-30, 15-30, 21-30.

Bluffton falls to 2-3 on the season and will travel to the Capital University Invitational this weekend in Columbus. Ohio Northern improves to 4-1 and will host the ONU Invitational this weekend.

Senior Mandy Pequignot collected seven kills and three blocks against ONU Wednesday night.

Freshman Courtney Tisher had five kills against Ohio Northern Wednesday night.

Bluffton was led by Mandy Pequignot with seven kills, while Erica Jellison collected 18 assists, 13 digs and served two aces.

Ohio Northern's Brandi Stover finished the match with 53 assists, and her career total of 4,330 assists is a new Ohio Athletic Conference career record.

ONU's Tara Anderson led the Polar Bears with 18 kills and Jackie Kaup notched a team-high 16 digs.
