The Bluffton College volleyball team defeated Ohio Wesleyan University Wednesday night 3-0 (30-19, 31-29, 31-29) in the Beavers' 2002 home opener in Founders Hall.

Bluffton improves to 6-9 on the season, while OWU falls to 0-11.

Bluffton was led by sophomore middle hitter Courtney Tisher with 14 kills and four blocks, followed by sophomore outside hitter Erin Kreim who collected nine kills. Freshman setter Leslie Overmyer led the Beavers with 19 assists, while junior setter Erin Cooper led the team with 18 digs and added 17 assists.

Bluffton will travel Wheaton College (Ill.) on Saturday, September 21st.
