BLUFFTON, OHIO - The Bluffton University volleyball team (2-4) easily defeated Oberlin College (1-4) in their 2004 home opener at Founders Hall on Tuesday night. The Beavers won in three matches 30-24, 30-21 and 30-22.

Leading the Beavers was senior ERIN KREIM (New Washington/Buckeye Central) with 28 attacks, 21 digs and 14 kills on the evening. Senior COURTNEY TISHER (Rittman/Rittman) followed closely behind with 25 attacks and led the team with two service aces. Senior KELLY KETTINGER (Oregon/Clay) led the Beavers again in service receptions with 18 for the game.

The Beavers will be back in action this weekend when they travel to Wooster College for the Wooster Invitational. Bluffton will play Urbana and West Virginia State on Friday and Marietta on Saturday.
