Kuhlman named Co-Volleyball Player of Week

BLUFFTON, Ohio - Senior KERI KUHLMAN (Shelby/Shelby) has been named Co-volleyball player-of-the-week for the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference for the week ending Sept. 19, 2005. 

Kuhlman led Bluffton to a 3-0 record last week.  The senior tallied 55 kills, nine assists, 40 digs, 12 blocks, six service aces and hit .253 in just three matches.  Kuhlman helped the Beavers defeat Ohio Wesleyan, Bethany College and Kenyon in four games each.  On the year Kuhlman is averaging 3.72 kills and 3.26 digs per game. 

Bluffton now stands at 7-6 for the season.  The mark is the best record for the Beavers to start the campaign since 1998.  Bluffton will be back in action on Monday, Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. when they host Otterbein College in Founders Hall.
