Kuhlman named All-HCAC

BLUFFTON, Ohio - Senior KERI KUHLMAN(Shelby/Shelby) has been named second team All-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference for the 2005 season.

Kuhlman, a four-year starter at middle hitter for the Beavers, capped off her stellar career at Bluffton by being named All-HCAC for the second time. She hammered 388 kills for a 3.73 kills per game average during her final season. Her 3.73 kills per game in 2005 placed her at the top of the record books. She ranks first in kills per game average for her career with 2.96 and she is also second all-time with 1285 career kills. Kuhlman was named to the All-Tournament team for her performance at the Manchester Tournament and she was also selected as Co-player-of-the-week in the HCAC for her play in the Kenyon quad. She finished the season with 78 blocks, 25 service aces, 292 digs and a .189 hitting percentage. Keri also holds the freshman kills record with 262 in 2002.
