Beavers wrap up season with loss at Earlham

RICHMOND, Ind. – The Bluffton University volleyball team wrapped up their 2022 campaign with a 3-0 loss at Earlham College in round one of the HCAC tournament. The Beavers finished their season with a 16-11 mark overall, while Earlham moves into the HCAC semifinals at Transylvania with a 14-15 record following two wins over the Beavers in the past five days.

Jenna Woods (DeGraff/Riverside) led the Bluffton offense, hammering home five winners. Three Beavers: Kaylie Campbell (Camden/Preble Shawnee), Alysha Like (McComb), and Chloei Barnett (Wapakoneta) were one off her pace with four kills each. Maddie White (Ashland) dished out 14 assists while also knocking three shots to the Quaker floor.

Emma Organ (Lambertville, MI/St. Ursula Academy) powered the Beaver defense with 11 digs. Courtney Weekley (Butler/Clear Fork) added seven pickups to her stat line with Like and Elle Price (Pocono Pines, PA/Findlay (Ohio) chipping in four digs apiece. Like and Paige Massie (Alvada/Arcadia) both stuffed the Quakers twice on Wednesday night.
