BLUFFTON, Ohio - Senior Kasey Sager (Troy) has been named the Heartland Conference Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week. It marks the second time in two weeks that a Beaver has earned HCAC honors with Chloei Barnett the offensive player of the week last week!

Sager was in on 16 blocks in 15 sets as Bluffton was a perfect 5-0 on the week, needing only 17 sets for the five matches. She finished with eight blocks in Bluffton's victory at Kenyon on Wednesday night.

Bluffton is back in action this Friday, Sept. 13, for the Sommer Center Spiketacular. The Beavers will tee it up with Wilmington (3 PM) and Hilbert (7 PM) on day one.
