Beavers run well at Otterbein Alumni Meet

The Bluffton University cross country team ran at the Otterbein Alumni Meet at Columbus, Ohio on Saturday. The men finished third while the women landed in second place.
 
Junior DAN ROSEBROCK (Napoleon/Napoleon) finishing in 13th place posted a record setting 8k time of 28:16.1.  Coach Janey Meeks felt, "Overall the men's team ran very competitively."

For the women, freshman SARAH HUMPHREY (Upper Sandusky/Upper Sandusky) ran successfully in the 5k finishing in 6th place with a time of 21:34.2.  Junior JEN CREAMER(Westerville/Westerville South) also had a solid outing with a 11th place finish and a time of 22:28.8.  "The women ran very well," added coach Meeks.

The cross country team will be back in action Saturday, September 18, 2004 at the Malone Invitational at Canton, Ohio.
