Both men and women finish 7th at Malone

The Bluffton University men's and women's cross-country team both finished seventh in messy conditions at the Malone Invitational this weekend. 

Junior DAN ROSEBROCK (Napoleon/Napoleon) led the men finishing in 26th place with a time of 29:58.30.  Finishing shortly behind in 30th place was Sophomore DAVE ESPINOZA(Toledo/Whitmer) with a time of 30:12.35.

The women were led for the third straight meet by Freshman SARAH HUMPHREY (Upper Sandusky/Upper Sandusky) who ended up in 12th place overall with a time of 20:47.70.  Junior LAUREN BORGA (New Philadelphia/New Philadelphia) finished in 45th place with a time of 22:12.20.

"Both the men and the women ran very solid races against tough competition," added coach Janey Meeks.

The cross-country team will be back in action Saturday, September 25, 2004 at the Defiance Invitational at Defiance, OH.
