Beavers run in Ohio Northern Invitational

The Bluffton University Men's and Women's Cross Country Teams ran at the Ohio Northern Invitational this past weekend.  The men's team finished in eighth place overall, beating out rival DefianceCollege with the women placing sixth.

Leading the Beavers on the men's side was junior Dan Rosebrock (Napolean/Napoleon).  Rosebrock finished in 33rd place with a time of 27:46, breaking his PR (personal record) by thirty seconds.  Sophomore Dave Espinoza (Toledo/Whitmer) finished in 36th place with a time of 27:48.  Rounding out Bluffton's top three was Jordon Bruner (Wauseon/Pettisville) with a 70th place finish.

Continuing to lead the women's team was freshman Sarah Humphrey (Upper Sandusky/Upper Sandusky).  She finished in 23rd place with a time of 25:25.  Senior Jennifer Niedermier (New Washington/Seneca East) placed 45th with a 25:28 time. Jennifer Creamer placed 49th to round out the Beavers top three finishers.

The men's and women's cross country teams will be at the Heartland Conference Championships on Oct. 30 at DefianceCollege, start time is to be announced.
