BLUFFTON, Ohio - Alexis Cash (Gaines, MI/Lake Fenton) has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week.

The two-time Heartland Conference champion earned her first HCAC Runner of the Week honor for the Beavers. Cash finished in 10th place (24:03.5) for the 8-kilometer race at Ohio Wesleyan on Saturday.

The talented senior will now begin training for the All-Ohio Championships hosted by Cedarville University on Saturday, Sept. 28. The race is slated for 1 p.m.
