DeVon Price is currently in his second year as a member of the Bluffton University men’s basketball coaching staff. Price spent two seasons playing at NCAA Division II Saint Joseph’s College (IN) before transferring and finishing his playing career at the University of Rio Grande.

During his first year at Bluffton, Price helped the Beavers to an 18-9 mark which equaled the school mark for most victories in a season by the Bluffton University men's basketball Team. In his second year in the program, Price helped the Beavers to a 15-11 overall record. Price’s primary responsibilities while on staff at Bluffton are recruiting, player development, the program’s strength and conditioning program, film breakdown/scouting upcoming opponents, summer shootout coordinator, monitoring academics, and the programs day-to-day operations. Price has helped three players obtain All-HCAC honors for two consecutive seasons as well as the HCAC’s first DPOY in Dezman Brown.

As a player, Price was a two-year starter at Rio Grande and was named a captain his senior year. Price led the Redstorm in both assists and steals as a junior and senior. Price also earned the Champions of Character award for the River States Conference as a senior. He was a two-time NABC Honors Court Academic Award and River States Conference Scholar Athlete recipient. Price graduated Cum Laude with a 3.51 GPA with a Bachelor’s of Science in Communication.

DeVon is the son of James and Laverne Price. Price is a graduate of Pickerington North High School where he was a three-year letterman on the basketball team. He was a part of the team’s best record in school history and first OCC championship as a sophomore (19-1). Price was named first team all-league as a senior and selected to play in the Ohio-Kentucky All-Star game.
